Sunday saw the Squirrels travel to Farningham on what was a very hot day.
New stand-in skipper, same result as Howesy for the second week running lost the toss thanks to Wookie's dodgy coin and we were sent out to field in the peak of the weather.
Woodsy (1-5) opened up well with a wicket in the first over and alongside Sen (0-25) got us off to a decent start limiting the opposition in the opening spell of the game.
Next in to bowl was debutant Nitish (1-21) who impressed during his spell bowling tidily and getting his first wicket for the club, hopefully the first of many more to come !!
From here on out the opposition were able to built a solid partnership at the crease and went on a rampage with both batsman scoring half-centuries despite the best efforts of Nugget (0-22), Wookie (0-32) and Kev (1-53).
Kev got a deserved wicket towards the end of his spell alongside Kyle (2-13) who bowled superbly to end the long-standing partnership at the crease between the opposition's half-centurions.
Farningham ended their innings 185-5 off of the full 35 overs.
What happened next I doubt will ever be repeated...
Lloyd went out to open the batting alongside Neil and to our disbelief was still out there as the last batsman entered the field in the 34th over, scoring just 27 off 97 balls, Lloyd took the art of test match batting to a whole new level.
Neil scored a solid 20 before getting bowled out and the wickets tumbled after this with Woodsy, Charles and Nugget going cheaply.
The only other notable performance came from Wookie with an impressive cameo scoring 38 off of just 30 balls hitting x6 4s and a 6.
The match continued in a similar vein however with the wickets continuing to fall and still not enough runs on the board as Kyle, Nitish, Howesy, Kev and Sen went cheaply to finish the game off.
We were all out in the final over and were 54 runs short.
Player of the Match- Kyle
Fine of the day- Lloyd
